Proud to be an American
despite the theft of pride from the weak who hide behind
the poor who die voting for promised lies.
Sometimes I think this nation’s lost her

Sleeping are her citizens
When Uncle Sam plays taps then will we know

Twisting amendments meanings come and they go.
At times I fear this nation may have sold her

The beauty of blue and white…
the red for those who’ve died

When the TV trains a willing slave in eagle’s eyes the colors fade
Mother can our flag be saved
